Birmingham Baptist Association (BBA) | Valleydale is part of and works to support the BBA in a variety of ways to share the love of Christ throughout the Birmingham area.  Contact: Jeff Senkbeil - jeffsenkbeil@yaho.com jeffsenkbeil@yaho.com

Biscuit Ministry | Sunday mornings at 6:45am our high schools students and adults load the church vans and head downtown. Armed with bottled water, biscuits, Bibles, and some survival resources they seek to share the love of Christ with those who are homeless offering hope and an opportunity to attend services. English as a Second Language | Thursday nights at 6:30pm during the fall and spring semesters folks just like you assist others in learning basic English using the Bible and Christian resources, so they can better function in our community. Jessie’s Place | Ministering to hurting, homeless and abused women and their children is the mission of Jessie’s Place. There are a variety of needs and ways God can use you to meet those needs. Contact: Melissa Robillard - Mrobillard4256@charter.net

Jimmie Hale Mission | 1st & 3rd Thursdays at 5:15pm Valleydale provides and serves dinner along with leading the chapel service for men in their life recovery program. Contact: Ralph Harris - james21718@bellsouth.net

Med Mission
| This ministry takes un-needed or used medical supplies and equipment and makes them available free for medical mission causes. There are a variety of ways to serve with this ministry. Contact: Saint Green - sgreen@valleydale.org

Oak Mountain Mission | Providing food, clothing, furniture, etc. to those in our community experiencing a need, especially single moms Contact: Dick Quinn - dickquinn@bellsouth.net

Restoration Academy | A Christian school providing quality education to lower income families in the Fairfield community. Student mentors are needed. Contact: Ralph Harris - james21718@bellsouth.netjames21718@bellsouth.net

Shepherd’s Fold | Helping to re-establish the lives of men recently released from prison. Valleydale provides dinner and chapel on the 2nd & 4th Mondays at 6:00pm and seeks to meet specific needs throughout the year. Contact: Rob and Lee Jolly - ofs@charter.net

Sav-A-Life | As a crisis pregnancy center, this ministry provides hope, love and support for women through pregnancy, post pregnancy resources and post abortion counseling. There are a variety of ways to serve. Contact: Amy Griner - a_griner3@hotmail.com
 
 

North American Opportunities

 
Builders For Christ | This year our team will be building a large chapel for the Mid-Western Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, MO June 13-18.  No special skills are required. Contact: Ralph Harris -  james21718@bellsouth.net

Encounter Church | Under Pastor Landon Reesor’s leadership, Encounter has relocated from Stamford CT to Darien, CT.  No mission trip is being planned at this time. Prayer Coordinator needed. Contact: Philip Waters -  watersfountain@gmail.com

Grace Fellowship | Our church planting partners in Vail, AZ (Chamblees and Huffstutlers) are off to a great start and are reaching new people almost every week.  A trip is being planned for July 10-17. Contact: Greg Graves - ggraves@ra.rockwell.com

Gulf Coast Rebuild | Our Gulf Coast Rebuild team continues to have an impact in the Ocean Springs, MS area through Lemoyne Blvd. Baptist Church bringing restoration to homes and families. NAMB | The Southern Baptist North American Mission Board through our contributions provides support for over 5,000 North American missionaries. They also support the local churches efforts by providing resources, logistical support, and missional research.

Nashville, TN
| Interested in engaging with an international population but not ready to travel all the way across the globe?  Around 10,000 Kurds live in Nashville just a few short hours away.  Unique opportunities to spend time with this culture are likely to occur around spring break and at the end of summer.  To learn more contact: Philip Waters -  thewatersfountain@gmail.com     

Atlanta, GA | Join the High School Ministry of Valleydale this July 12-18 as we  partner with the Atlanta Dream Center and Atlanta International Church to help with the many needs present in the impoverished inner city of Atlanta.   Contact: Kathy Compton  - kcompton@valleydale.org  
 
Ridgecrest, NC | Our Middle School Ministry will be participating in “X-Factor On Mission” July 5-10 reaching out to the people in the Ridgecrest area in a variety of ways. Contact Lacy Huff -  lhuff@valleydale.org

Surgance | Surgance exists to bring together: Uncommon Partners to work on Common Ground issues for the purpose of Changing Lives.  Communities have been physically transformed by corporations, governments, and non profits working together with compassion and generosity. International Opportunities

 
East Asia | We have adopted two unreached people groups with the hopes of sharing the Gospel and planting churches. Amazing progress has been made through the efforts of our missionaries, previous teams, and now our own... Brett and Lindsay. Potential trip dates: June or July. Contact: Missions Office @ 991.5282

IMB | The Southern Baptist International Mission Board through our contributions provides support for over 5,000 international missionaries, some of whom we partner with directly, seeking to carry the gospel and plant churches among every nation and tongue. They also support the local churches efforts by providing resources, logistical support, and missional research.

Middle East | In conjunction with our missionary partners this work is focused on an unreached people group by providing a gospel witness through Bible storying, Bible resources, prayer walking, church planting and discipling of church leaders. Potential Trip dates: September or October.  Contact: Missions Office @ 991.5282

Moldova | We are sharing Christ and planting churches working with the Baptist Union of Moldova through the means of medical clinics and children’s program. Each year a different village is selected. This is a great ‘first’ international trip. Trip Dates: June 3-12.  Contact: Ross Robinson - rrobinson@valleydale.org

Peru | We have adopted the Caraveli Province to share the gospel and plant reproducing house churches throughout the region. This is a great opportunity to be on the frontlines of church planting. Multiple trips are being formed throughout the year. Contact: Todd Gober  - live2loop@gmail.com
