Middle School

Middle school students will encounter and be introduced to many different lifestyles during their early teen years. To help them live the best life possible--the life God intended--we want to challenge them to worship God with their lives, connect through Christ-centered relationships, grow in the way of Christ, and serve others as Christ served. MSM is geared for all middle school students in grades 6-8!

Our Hope is to See Middle School Students Do the Following:

WORSHIP

We define worship as celebrating God's presence and honoring Him with our lifestyle. It is our reason for existence. In Romans 12:1 we are told, "Offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God--this is your spiritual act of worship." Everything we do in MSM is done because we love God and desire to honor and worship Him with our lives!

CONNECT

We believe that life change happens through the power of the gospel. We also believe that relationships are an avenue for the gospel. It is our aim to connect students through Christ-centered relationships with other students and caring adults who will motivate them in their relationship with Christ.

GROW

In all ways--intellectually, physically and spiritually--this can be an exciting season of growth for students. It is our hope to produce followers of Jesus by deepening their knowledge of God through Bible study, memorization and meditation.

SERVE

Jesus came not to be served, but to serve. Fighting the cultural obsession of personal entitlement and consumer consumption, we hope to raise up a generation of servants. Students who are more concerned with giving of themselves than getting--more focused on serving than being served!

Role of the Middle School Ministry

We want to come alongside parents as they take the lead in the spiritual development of their children. It is our hope to equip, encourage and minister to families by providing resources and opportunities that help them worship, connect, grow and serve together.

Are you looking for a church experience that will challenge your middle schooler to grow spiritually while engaging them in a way that makes them enjoy attending? We've designed FUEL specifically with your middle schooler in mind. It is a weekly gathering centered around a worship experience and dynamic Bible instruction and teaching. Our Fuel Small Groups offer same graded and gender groups for students to get connected and to do life with a caring adult!
