2012 Short Term Mission Trip Opportunities:

North America

Builders For Christ | June 10-15 | Mt. View Baptist Church in Phil Campbell, AL - The Valleydale team will be helping construct a new facility for this church damaged during the 2011 tornado outbreak.  No special skills are required. Contact: Ralph Harris

Burlington, VT |  July 22-27 | Burlington City Church, Working with our church planting partners, Kevin and Kristin Pounds, this trip will provide a children's camp for international refugees located in Burlington and various other service projects to serve the city. Trip Leader: Jeff McGukin   

Grace Fellowship, Vail AZ | TBD |  This trip will involve prayer-walking, outreach, and encouraging our partners at Grace Fellowship.  Contact:   Missions Office, 991.5282.   

Disaster Relief | Local, national & international disasters obviously aren’t scheduled, but they can be anticipated. Disaster relief volunteers must receive specific training to participate on early response disaster teams. Training is offered periodically for serving with the General Clean-Up Unit, Feeding Unit, Chain Saw Unit, and Shower Unit. Contact: Dennis McRee for training opportunities or www.bbaonline.org/dr. 

Surgance | Surgance exists to bring together: Uncommon Partners to work on Common Ground issues for the purpose of Changing Lives.  Communities have been physically transformed by corporations, governments, and non profits working together with compassion and generosity. Contact:  Colby Barnett 

NAMB | The Southern Baptist North American Mission Board through our contributions provides support for over 5,000 North American missionaries. They also support the local churches efforts by providing resources, logistical support, and missional research.

International Opportunities

Moldova | June 21-30 | We are working with the Baptist Union of Moldova in sharing Christ and planting churches through the means of medical clinics and children’s program. Each year a different village is selected where there currently is no evangelical church.

Peru | June (2nd or 3rd week); October 12-20 | We have adopted the Caraveli Province to share the gospel and plant reproducing house churches throughout the region through evangelism and discipleship opportunities. Currently we are focused on establishing a church in Atico on the west coast.

Middle East | October 19-28 | Working with our missionary partners this effort is focused on an unreached people group by providing a gospel witness through Bible-storying, Bible resources, prayer walking, church planting and disciple-making of church leaders.

Palestine | October, 2013 - 10 days | This is a vision trip focused on providing a medical clinic and children's ministry among the Palestinian population in the West Bank.  This trip includes a 3 day tour of Biblical sites.
